How much does it cost to get my license? Each license is different and it depends on the student and the time put in to obtain the license. You can normally expect to spend anywhere from $10,000-$20,000 on your private pilot certificate depending on consistency of training, weather, maintenance, and other factors like that.

What does a typical lesson look like? We typically do 3-hour blocks with 45 minutes on the ground to discuss what you will be doing during the flight, an hour and a half of flight time, and then 45 minutes post-flight to debrief. During these blocks, you will practice maneuvers, navigation, and overall piloting skills. There are also ground lessons where you will learn all of the necessary information to be a safe and knowledgeable pilot.
